We are back home and still so thrilled about our wonderful wedding at Mnemba. How on earth can we thank you for what you have done to make our
wedding day so much more memorable than what we ever thought it would be... I actually don't know where to start.
From that first warm smile that we had from the driver at Zanzibar airport, the friendliness of ALL the staff, the wonderful food that we had, the flexibility to eat whatever you feel like, whenever you feel like it and where ever you want to, Kundi's famous words
"no problem", the beautiful white beaches and luxurious accommodation, as Kobus said to Leen on our last day, the only bad thing about Mnemba Island is that you have mobile reception!!
Everything was just so perfect, or should I say, done in the exact same way we like it. Our room filled with rose petals and candles, a printed picture of our wedding, the beautiful wedding cake and not to forget about the red roses, as well as a CD with our
pictures. I also would like to compliment you for the way we were treated at the airport on our way to Pemba. The older guy (sorry, can't remember
his name) took so good care of us. He did everything for us, we have not had to worry about anything, and he was so kind. Well, I have to tell you that on arriving in Pemba Island Kobus and myself just looked at each other, we know that after being at Mnemba it would be hard to go to another resort.
We could not get off the island because there are only one flight a day to Dar Es Salaam, and fully booked two weeks ahead and had no option but to
charter a plane to go back home earlier. We even phoned Kundi and ask him to come and fetch us - he was just laughing!! We could not bear the thought of ending our honeymoon in a place like that - only due to the fact that we were so spoiled at Mnemba. I think that every hotel/resort in the world
should send their employees for training to ccafrica to see how things should be done. We also have the philosophy in life that life is to short to go back to the same place because we would like to see the whole wide world, BUT, to Mnemba we are definitely going back! I still get goose pimples if I think about our wedding day. Dear Peter and Tonya, and everybody who was involved, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH, IT WAS ABSOLUTE FANTASTIC, WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW MUCH WE HAVE ENJOYED OUR WEDDING DAY, IT WAS SOOOOOOO SPECIAL,
SOOOOOO ROMANTIC!!!!!!
